Using Electrical Appliances in New Zealand

The electricity system in New Zealand uses the same 23/240 volt infrastructure that is in use in Australia and Europe. 3 pronged plugs are used. Appliances designed for DC supply or different voltages will require a transformer (which are generally available in most New Zealand airports).
